Mining is 100% to make money for shareholders but giving back to the surrounding community is a great.
I think most shareholders genuinely want the community involved who will work in or surrounding support businesses to do well and benefit.
Yes there would be charity too its the right thing to do when your exploiting there land and cheap labour
