I must correct myself. I spoke briefly with Lachlan and thanked him for his service.

I am re-assured that Lachlan is actually leaving for personal reasons and there is no disagreement at all.

As a result Lachlan is taking the time to properly handover to the new CEO and will be around until the handover is complete, which is a good sign that everything is on good terms.

one interesting piece of news Lachlan shared is that HGO has been classified as a diversified mining business on the ASX rather than a dedicated copper producer. This will soon change which may mean that brokers/financial industry people interested in CU only mining companies are more likely to see us on their screens. Let’s hope helps with the sp!
