Why wouldn’t a company sign a MOU with a company about to go bust? It’s water off a ducks back. Imagine some sales people come to your door and pester you with a future product they’re about to release pending funding that doesn’t sound promising... what’s the best way to get them to leave? Sign a non binding MOU. If you look at the nature of the MOUs, most are with unheard of companies.
