    @gralia

There were 3 additional things I picked up from the ASX release on Friday that may interest you:

    1. The cobalt grade went from 0.14% to 0.16% Co at Mutooroo. A 14% increase.

If grade is king, then I believe Mutooroo is actually the highest grade Australian sulphide cobalt deposit (associated with copper).

Copper-cobalt sulphide resources in Australia are rare. Havilah has only eight other peers.

The other Australian copper-cobalt sulphide resources with JORC Mineral Resources , that I could locate, are:

    Mutooroo project (ASX: HAV) 0.16%
Walford Creek project (ASX: AML) 0.14%
    Wollogorang project (ASX: RML) 0.13%
    Savannah project (ASX: PAN) 0.12%
Carlow Castle project (ASX: ARV) 0.08%
Broken Hill Cobalt project (ASX: COB) 0.0715%
    Overlander project (ASX: HMX) 0.05%
Mount Gunson project (ASX: GBG) 0.04%
West Musgrave project (ASX: CZI) 0.012%

    2. The levels of deleterious elements, such as arsenic and cadmium, are negligible at Mutooroo.

    3. With 20,200 tonnes of cobalt at Mutooroo, it provides the basis for possible future co-operation between HAV and Cobalt Blue Limited (ASX: COB) on a wide range of activities, including the marketing of cobalt sulphate concentrate.

Co-operation between COB and HAV would be based on similar cobalt-bearing iron sulphide ore and geographical proximity.

    'Scale' being the end game.

Combined, there are over 120,000 tonnes of cobalt JORC Mineral Resources between the 2 companies: COB (79,500 tonnes of cobalt) and HAV (43,400 tonnes of cobalt: Mutooroo + Kalkaroo combined).

All 3 of these projects have the ability to increase cobalt resources longer-term by a significant tonnage.

As Dr Giles and Traviss Just point out: "A curious regional link is provided by the ubiquitous cobalt-rich pyrite that is found in all copper-gold deposits in the region, irrespective of age or origin, and also in aplitic intrusions near Broken Hill.

This is unlikely to be coincidental, and points to a widespread regional mineralising event with potential to generate large mineral deposits in favourable."
