a single layer of Graphene has a thickness of .34nm, there are approximately 1 million graphene layers in one platelet of graphite

VFD can make very few layer graphene - vFLG, Few Layer Graphene -FLG, Multi layered graphene - MLG and Graphene Nano platelets - GNP.

If VFD can be successfully commercialised it is significant to the possible revenues for the company,
1. It will allow FGR to use any graphite feed stock to convert into the above types of graphene,
2. It will also allow FGR to access revenues in other areas i.e the manufacturing of Biodiesel. fullerene's ect.
3. Graphene oxide production, FGR has indicated that Graphene oxide is expensive and uses harsh chemicals, with VFD being able to produce eco friendly GO is significant, GO is expected to make up 40% of the future graphene market, With a low cost eco friendly process.

If you didn't know VFD along with the BEST battery has received 1.5mil in Government funding for their development, total project is expect to cost around $3mil.

VFD is my favorite IP. its range of uses is incredible, I am surprised it has take FGR this long to commercialise the IP. I can now stop asking Peter (CFO) when this is going to be commercialised.
