What exactly can an independent director do in the case of a takeover? If David Dicker and Fiona Brown agree to it, it's basically a done deal.
I'd much rather a takeover doesn't occur. There aren't many other companies (that are reasonably priced) that I can buy and know the managers are acting in the interests of the owners.
