I think it does indeed sound like a wow factor but Phylogica have always been pretty good at impressing with presentations as we all know and again I agree with the scientific perspective but that's kind of how these wow factors have always been released as opposed to peer reviewed journals ? I think the last line also hit it with they need to be able to commercialise it. I find it hard to see how none of these apparent long long lines of potential partners ~20'ish have still failed to materialize into a deal over the last 18 months and even prior to the date well short of guidance. Surely they couldn't have hidden things over such a prolonged period in order to finalise any of these deals without the other parties atleast having a pretty good idea through their due diligence ?

We'll see hopefully tonight might get more of a response although I still don't quite get why they didn't release the data along with the patent ? as it was already officially presented 5 hours before the market opened so the cat was already out the bag.
