I'm happy to see Alk not just concentrating on the DZP.
But IF demand for zirconium and REE seriously grows again, enough to merit the 1,5 MTPA expansion, prices will be way higher than now. Which translates to >> 300 mio / profit from the "current" DZP. Say 400 mio (original DFS + improved HREE recovery + tantalum). Which means that the expansion would bring in another yearly profit of 200 mio / year.
Sorry, but I don't see any other project at hand that would bring in that kind of money ... (whereas the RATE of return for another Orange JV (spending 2 mio, earning 100 mio) would be really good, and allow for a fast repayment of any debts incurred for the DZP, thus enabling dividends sooner than expected ...)
