A lot of energy around blasting?
And in a sector where keeping safe around large noisy equipment is a constant issue, there is even more of an  onus on those who work with explosives to remember how fragile life is and value their own and those of other people.
....so quite sexy at the most basic levels

Fine craftsmanship and excellence in performance is often  a turn on too - for me anyway - and the DDB team seems to have this down pat.

...and then there is the lure of the lucre...
Although I was too transfixed to sell any at the recent highs...

Here’s a story today from Australian Mining on what caused that leap last week to an all time high of 73.5c

    cheers

Dynamic Drill and Blast Holdings (DDB) is set to provide drilling services at AngloGold Ashanti’s Sunrise Dam gold mine and GWR Group’s Wiluna West iron ore operation in Western Australia.
DDB received preferred supplier status from Carey Mining at the Sunrise Dam mine, where it will provide its drilling services at the Golden Delicious deposit starting late this year for a period of 24 months.
DDB was also appointed by the Pilbara Resources Group to deliver its blasting services, in addition to drilling services at the Wiluna West operation’s C4 deposit starting this month.
This involves around one million tonnes of the 21.6 million tonne resource at C4.
Both contracts are estimated to generate $20 million in revenue for DDB and require up to four drill rigs, around 20 personnel and ancillary equipment.
DDB managing director Mark Davis said the company was pleased to be diversifying its client base, adding two longer term production projects, including one in the precious metals sector.
“The contracts complement our current operations, which include long term mining projects and specialised civil works, which will support the sustainable growth of the business,” he concluded.
