I hope shareholders are reading the terms of the proposals, prior to voting. The rationale is to align management with shareholders, but most shareholders are well underwater here. Bearing in mind, the short term incentives are merely for meeting expectations, ie turning up to work, it is unclear why the line was drawn at that level and therefore appears unjustified.
A review of the previous, numerous, incentive packages given to executives at this company, reveals this appears to follow a pattern of behaviour.
I will vote against this unjustified greed.
