You're blaming a placement from 2.5 years ago.
In the last 2 years, before lithium, AZS hadn't responded to large nickel price movements, hadn't attracted buying interest, and hadn't received any takeovers. Its value settled at $60 million.
Between now and 2027, if they want 60% of 500ktpa, they're going to need $400-500 million to get into production. If Rovira has a brain, he'll forget the nickel totally.
Anyway this is off topic. You're welcome to reply but I won't change my view.

AZS: $730-830 million
LRS: $540 million
WR1: $320 million
