Shares were issued at 5c with free attaching options which are valued at 2.5c. They can sell shares and still be in profit. Naturally, if you can't sell options due to liquidity, you sell shares.
It will wash through pretty quickly, well by standards not yours (couple weeks vs couple hours). Next month there will be data on US inflation which will be massive due to tariffs. Gold is taking a breather until then. So be patient
