As mentioned in my previous -there is a some risk that the company won’t actually list Nasdaq immediately or at all. This is an inherent risk & people’s investment will become somewhat illiquid within an unlisted entity. Reading a lot of posts on these threads indicates to me that a lot of people simply think the AU entity will simply transition automatically to Nasdaq. Reality is it may take a significant period of time. Who knows- tech bubble could burst, could be a vaccine for COVID released tomorrow or there could be some seismic fallout from US election. Without giving advice - a prudent US investor would wait & see what gets dished up by the company in the prospectus or apply once more relevant price sensitive info is released. They probably haven’t seen enough to get excited at the moment - agreed.
