Sky and Space Global Ltd (ASX: SAS, “Sky and Space Global” or “the Company”) is today pleased to share the Company’s new logo and Mission Patch ahead of the 3 Diamonds launch.
This comes after the recent announcement about Sky and Space Global’s new website, skyandspace.global. The logo and Mission Patch will add to the rebranding, giving a fresh image as the Company continues to go from strength to strength in the lead up to the 3 Diamonds launch, due to take place later this week.
The 3 Diamonds nano-satellites will be launched on the ISRO’s PSLV at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, India on Friday, 23rd June. The launch marks a significant step forward for the Company and if successful, the nano-satellites will begin an eight-week operation of In-Orbit Tests in order to validate functionality of all systems.
In addition to preparing for the 3 Diamonds launch, Sky and Space Global is working full steam ahead to prepare for the deployment of a constellation of 200 nano-satellites which will be launched into space by 2020.
Sky and Space Global is the first company to utilize nano-satellites to build a proprietary communications network in the equatorial belt which will deliver affordable communications services for businesses operating in this region and for people living in emerging markets.
The Company has been recognised for this pioneering work in satellite technology, having recently won the 2016 Frost & Sullivan Best Practice Award for Technology Innovation, an award given to those who have demonstrated notable achievements and advancement in the industry.
