What I forgot to add in my last post was another quote from Brad Thompson in the same article:
"Mostly lost in the focus on the LG finance and offtake deal is that Liontown will start supplying Tesla a year earlier than expected."
Now if there was an oversupply of lithium and the price was going to stay low why would Tesla want to do this? The answer is IMO: high quality and supply guaranteed and we need to get this before the price goes up. Another reason why GR and/or Rio may move on us soon. Great time to be short don't you think?
