10 years ago, the NSW Kenneally government sold Erarang Power Station to Origin Energy for $50m. As part of the deal the NSW government paid compensation of $300m to Origin Energy so that the government could break a contractual agreement to supply cheap coal to the power station.
Origin Energy received their $300m compensation not to be supplied cheap coal . . . so why now is Yancoal being ordered to supply Origin Energy cheao coal !!!.
