yeah the leucoxene is considerably higher than most other deposits. but low on rutile (so far anyway). probably everything to do with the saprolite hosting nature of it.
as I mentioned in point 1 - its going to be literally an unprecedented justification to move forward with a Ti operation AFAIK. because high luecoxene/low rutile is, from what I can see, uncommon.
but if this Leicoxene is on the higher end of the grade scale, say 85-90% Ti, at 5% (which significantly higher than most other deposits), it may well pave a way forward.
even lower grade leucoxene at 70% may still be worth it?
it'll come down to point number 2 - cost effectiveness of separating the minerals.
imo this announcement derisks the project somewhat. it's an addition to the original discovery.
