Regarding: Looks like they are closing in on Mother.
Why hope to find the mother lode when the outer lodes are so great.
If they keep finding good stuff whilst looking for Mother, I hope they don't find the main source for a long time yet.
It the Mother Lode is at the end of the 5km prospective area - that would be great.
It reminds me of the Americans in 1948 when they were drilling for what would become Ghawar (in Saudi Arabia and the largest conventional oil field in the world at 280 x 36km) At one stage they decided to step out 180 km and found more oil. It took them years to ascertain that they had one big continuous oil field.
