We will never know why people do what they do in markets. To be honest, I don’t care because the company is all that matters to me and it’s getting better all the time. I just keep picking up stock down here regardless of someone else’s choices. They don’t know anything more than we do. The announcements are there for all to read. What I find weirder is that corporates are mostly so brain dead they haven’t tried to get on the register or make a bid for one of the cheapest emerging gold producer companies on the asx. When they finally do, we will probably see more than one try and buy Bc8.
To be fair, Bc8 doesn’t have a wide open register for them to plunder. It has Silverlake, management, Templeton and other US gold funds holding a lot of the paper. The rest of the top 20 are Very sticky as well. They know they can’t steal it from an under exposed management team for fees and job promotions. They can’t walk onto the register with 19% from a fund that wants a quick buck. Bc8 doesn’t have endless punters wanting to make a quick dollar and just dump it. If anyone wants Bc8, they have to pay for it. Australia has only a handful of companies going into production in the space.
