I'm not going anywhere, I got a few friends into MOD. I see the potential & value

However the ASX is becoming more & more a place where you more often than not get hurt simply by buying & holding. That's how I was brought up.

Now you seem far better to have a "core" holding of stocks you like & trading parcels of them as well.

I've held MOD for a while without trading (overall under water on it), PSF made a tidy sum as I got in early, yet holding on to it has cost me a lot of $$$ as well, when I should have traded down after news & before the next lot.

The cynic in me tells me today's announcement was about trying to give the share price a boost & make people take-up there rights, hence the early close of entitlement, before the share price drifts back.
