Who knows. None of us know whats happening in the background. All just speculating for the fun of it. But one plausible scenario is that they were buying everything they could at 4.7c but that supply was drying up and they were approaching 5% so took everything they could up to 5c as they will need to disclose anyway. Another scenario is the big bid at 5c came from RCF who already had something like 7% and will need to announce a change in the next day. another is that someone is looking to get whatever they can under 5c before a hostile offer at something like 5.5c. Or it could be completely random and nobody is going over the 5%. Only thing for sure is that the 5c bid line + what sold at +5c yesterday and today is over 5% of the company.
