I think they will change their minds before their time is done. If blackouts happen and their positions are threatened I think they will accept gas as a transition. Renewable energy isn’t far enough along to power a country and I can’t see us going Nuclear. I don’t think they will have much of a choice but to go with gas especially after a bad summer or 2. The public might have a change of heart on it too, especially parents who can’t keep their children cool.
