i think newcrest will get credit for cementing this deal and its share price should do ok, they have not overpaid.
equally LGL is still open to other parties so could trade at offer price or slightly more - should be some short covering.
i will be swapping all my LGL scrip for maximum NCM scrip - don't want the cash.
GOLD going forward should do well and there will be more M & A on a global basis.
