    re: Ann: Newcrest closely monitoring situatio... Seems possible to conclude that NCM traded in a rising channel from Jan 09 until LGL merger, with the width of that channel roughly A$8. (traders dream!)

    Since then we could say it's been in a new channel that's still rising at roughly the same rate but so far the range has been narrower - about A$4. If that's the case $37.50 might be a dream.

    Anyone have any thoughts on why we should or shouldn't look at things this way?
