So who has an opinion on Newmont - are they well managed with quality long term assets?
Newmont are down 30% (in USD) last 12 months whilst Newcrest are up 16% (in AUD). AUD v USD down about 5% ish.
Will Newmont drop/rise tonight due to scheme? This is a significant deal for them so i guess there would be an adjustment to share price tonight based on the markets' view of this deal.
Don't really expect any regulatory issues.
I'm bullish gold, not so much copper in the short term with recession likely, more bullish 2+ years. Tempted to buy a few more NCM.
