Hi black cat,
Looking at core, the gold doesn't seem to be sitting in the quartz, but in the red black rock type which is? Could this mean the quartz as a carrier might be a red herring.
hence the poor results drilling along quartz heading north.
the quartz in the core doesn't really look like a vein, more a compaction a later process. The position of gold in red black rock looks to be crystallised out in clumps that are in lines.
Any clues do you think for the csiro result?
