He should be paying us more dividend to compensate for reduced franking instead of wasting shareholder funds on share buy back which does nothing meaningful but pump the price so only CEO looks good. !! I doubt it will do as much as WBS did yesterday !
WBC at-least got someone smart to pay more to shareholder instead of pocketing their own ego through buy-back !
Also, why pay on 1st July instead of 20th June so we can buy something else in end-of financial year sale !
