gomboc, I think AB should get rewarded for taking Newsat to these stages however why are we re-negotiating his contract and performance options now and why so many 'rights'. Did the board not include enough incentive for AB to take us to the next level when his last contract was signed??
AB will get 250 million 'rights' which will equate to 1 ordinary share, so on a conversative basis:
1. When finances are approved for the project he gets 125 millions shares, let's say SP is 2 cents that would make $2.5 million in shares
2. When satellite is launche he gets another 125 million, let's say SP is now 5 cents that would make $6.25 million in shares.
As a comparison, Ralph Norris the boss of CBA last year recieved a bonus of 1.85 million.
