The contract value of $275k per annum [$1.1mill over 4 years if taken up] is peanuts and could even be ridiculed as a paltry figure given the "pipeline" of expected contracts but this is more symbolic than simple $$$$ terms.
To those who have queried the DoD/Newsat partnership this is an endorsement of our relationship and shows an ongoing commitment by the US in Newsat.
Further it is hopefully an indication that the relationship will further strengthen as Jab1 gets closer to reality. I am sure our U.S. representatives will build on this.
