I am not suggesting Verizon are about to take-over VTX. I have no knowledge of any likely take-overs.
I am highlighting how assets such as Warpware's unique optimisation algorithims and load shaping are being valued by the bigger players and how Verizon acquired UpLynk for their IP to facilitate their vision.
The big players are predicting continued massive growth in mobile video consumption. This translates into value of VTX ip.
