Dose escalation only means 3 things :
1.- The Drug is safe at all previous tested levels.
. 2.- Results are positive, otherwise the ethical committee will stop the trial, and
. 3.- they still see a positive correlation between the dose and the results ( the higher the dose the better the results)
Hence we have to push the doses up till either toxicity eventuates, or the drug effect flattens with no improved results despite higher doses.
So imho very good news.
Obviously if we had all previous cohorts with Complete Responses, then IMU would not be ramping up doses.... but expecting this is a bit unrealistic.
How good are those results ?? Time will tell.
