SurgX with Xbio Technology Prevents Bacterial Adhesion without Maceration Through the Formation of an Oxygen Permeable Superhydrophilic Surface, Thats from the website, meaning is watery which aids in healing, and prevents bacteria in the wound from attachingffor up to 72hrs. From what I can work out my understanding is that SurgX is prevention after surgery and BlastX is a treatment of an established infection. The wash is for in surgery. The SurgX gel is what you would want when they close up the wound. Just my thoughts which could be wrong @sabine
