The rest of your post may be on the money for all I know but the statement "hospitals are very well known in aus to be poor standard and lacking new machinery /technology" could not be more wrong. I don't agree with the way the system is being run, but we still have some of the best healthcare in the world and the most modern equipment. Clearly our market is not the size of the US or Europe, however.
