GTRNiagara Drilling Intercepts Encouraging Quartz Vein StructuresHighlights
Aircore drilling has concluded ahead of schedule and without incident with 52 holescompleted at the Niagara Gold Project near Kookynie in WA.
Drilling has intersected quartz in numerous drill holes with occasional pyrite.
Assay results are expected in mid‐October.
An RC drill program is on schedule to commence in late October.GTI Resources Ltd (GTI or the Company) is pleased to advise that the Company has receivedencouraging indications from the recently completed Aircore drilling program at the Company’sNiagara Gold Project. This Aircore drill campaign targeted 6 of the 8 significant gold in soil anomaliesidentified within exploration Licence E40/342 (Figure 1).Drilling of the targeted geochemical anomalies has intersected quartz veining in a number of drillholes at predicted positions.The intersected veins are occasionally associated with pyrite selvages and as fracture fill andsilicification. The relationship between the geochemical anomalies and the intersection of quartzveins will be established once assay results have been received.Drilling is also providing guidance on the lithology and structure within the drilled areas includingsilicified faults, which complements the structural interpretation. Lithologies intersected includedbasalt, granitoids, ultramafics and metasediments.The geological and structural model will be updated and interpreted in the coming weeks and thenincorporated with the multielement geochemistry when received.Drilling was concluded ahead of schedule with 52 holes completed at an average depth of 45 metresfor 2,321 metres total.Initial gold analysis is expected in mid to the third week of October and multielement geochemistrysoon after.An RC rig is scheduled to start testing bedrock targets during late October following receipt of resultsfrom the current round of Aircore drilling.
