The government's push to encourage more people under the age of 30 through discounted policies to take out health insurance should have a positive impact on health insurers' bottom line, or at least initially so. The up to 10% subsequent discount between the ages of 30 and 40 might cancel some of that out, but not until much later. The SP appears to have responded positively to this new initiative, which places the SPP well in the money for now. Even though it only involves a maximum of 885 shares, I'll participate now unless the SP takes a dive over the next few trading days.
