Given how strongly they've performed in recent years, I thought this was a very good interim result. SSS growth slower than we're used to (unsurprising), and negative in January (normally probably one of the biggest months in the year?), but good gross margin growth again, and cost of operating down too as a % of sales. Pleased to see marketing expenses still increasing - a sign they continue to manage the business for the long term.
A weaker outlook for 2H FY18 (I wonder how much that Jan performance tempered expectations?), but laying a good platform for FY19. Optimism over the new and planned sites. Still looking good. GLAH
