Forgive me if I'm totally incorrect , (it happens quite a lot) but is there a sort of exotic arb with the 25% ( rounded for ease) stake in NC1?
In theory, any fruits gained by Nico are indirectly fruits gained, in part, by MLX as major shareholder, of any sort of buyback, divvies,JV or T/O bids.
Also the rise in Nico prices would indirectly add value to MLX by proxy.
SO, in effect, does investment in MLX itself provide exposure to Nico on the up, but somewhat de-risking from a drop away, being a seperate entity producer in itself?
Anyway, just a thought...
