doubt it the hard yards....... have been done. the announcement cannot have been expected to say “hey folks in a month we have got to where we were hoping to be in six months” - to satisfy the quick buck merchants ( many of those apparently on these forums.
fair dinkum, who in their rational mind expects to reset an operation, gutted by the previous owners, to super profits rapidly? one also expects management to be flexible, re-setting when appropriate. I believe that is what has been happening ultimately to extract the best results possible when achieving nameplate capacity. base metals prices and the investment climate have played a large role (as always) in affecting the stock, in addition to the machinations of corrupted markets. sure, probs at Nifty were larger than m’ment expected. I’m prepared to give them my previous time frame.... and yes, continue to hope that the ducks line up as I have anticipated over the longer view for which I hold MLX. Adding fuel to this mixed messages fire is the flip flopping of brokers and larger investors which must have confused the bejeesus out of speculators, investors and observers alike.
