Baz has not said bankers as far as I remember, maybe he has. I thought he always used the term financiers or the more generic 'finance'.

I used the term but it in the wider sense - ie a bank or something else. So it could be private finance who could potentially take a stake.
I seem to remember him saying in one of the Samso videos I think, words to the effect that 'we have some people interested who would be keen to invest when the risk is lower'. I took this as being the Restart Study confirming the excellent project metrics.

So this might explain why is is cagey about the finance sources.
