I agree and it's a good point comparing brownfields discoveries to greenfields. In Oz most notable major discoveries people typically think of the Sandfire and Sirius stories, true greenfields discoveries. The Carnaby story perhaps seems odd because in Oz most near mine discoveries were made some time ago because they had been drilled every time the commodity prices rose substantially. It appears that this area has had next to none, which seems all the more incredible given the prospects for copper.... But when you compare to South America where I am and a lot of the major "discoveries" here are where companies have walked up to historic high grade mines (many still operating with illegal miners) and plonk a few holes down, voila a billion dollar market cap. I went on an analyst visit a couple of months ago and picked up solid chalcocite from a trench 10m in width (yes, pure chalcocite, 80% copper!). The historic mine was Spanish, no one in the area even knew there was copper there. When the company eventually drills into it the market will likely go ballistic and will be asking why it was never drilled, just like CNB
