Can't be long until the next round of expenditure cuts... FMG still have plenty of fat to cut....

All those 100's of staff they have doing 7 days on 7 days off FIFO rosters could be first in line... it's a fair roster when the iron ore price is good but at times like these, just as in the past, they should be put back to their old 14 days on 7 days off roster for the same pay. Think of the cost savings on flights, accommodation, food, and they could cut 1/3 of the workforce with no lost hours!

I think it's only a matter of time. I'd say the big boys are just waiting for the smaller guys to feel the pinch a bit more so they can justify it, and so the staff will accept it as they will have no where else to go!
