Just my 2c, the NME Chairman is one Thomas Percy QC and this is an extract from the last NME Annual Report in his bio:
"...was appointed Queen’s Counsel in December 1997. Mr Percy specialises in criminal trials and appeals and has been involved in many prominent cases over the past 25 years. He also has significant experience in mining litigation and Warden’s Court cases."
There are plenty of stupid lwayers out there, but you'd be hard pressed to find a stupid QC.
There's no doubt the JV land needs to be under one 100% wholly owned corporate structure, but it was always going to be difficult to see how this would/could be achieved.
This is a great pity as Kookynie is the address to some excellent, high grade, underexplored dirt & the JV is sitting on a good chunk of it.
Will this end up being a Gordian knot?
