Proposed transaction… could be anything. Acquisition, merger, sale outright, buy out, reverse float..another extension and a no information suggests all cards on the table and nothing is solid. A 48 hour extension or even a few days would be understandable, this amount of time suggests the table may be lying flat on the floor. Knock on effect is clients lose faith, staff look for another job, creditors start collecting hard, and no large enterprise would enter a new agreement with a company in continual suspension, no guarantee of future service. There is only so much time you can say “no we all good, it’s a good thing we just can’t disclose” before customers run. I think it’s a bit of a slap in the face when on announcements directors can say they happy with the progress, kids learn to walk faster than this. Be honest Directors.
