All of the businesses I deal with and analyse in tech have steady to positive revenue. Economic slowdowns hit new projects and new tech rollouts but the underlying recurring rev is typically solid because it’s delivering core essential services like internet and security and compute capacity. There’s a lot of focus on service consolidation to find savings but that presents more revenue opportunities, not less. Sentiment to tech stocks on the asx is somewhat out of step with the economic reality in the field.
