The announcement specifically says up to 500k in 'orders' in Jan - not 500k in the bank. Unless there is information available other than in the announcement this could mean anything. Hardware has lead times, installation time etc.
Typically a large order will negatively impact cashflow in the short term - especially if it is low margin meter & comms hardware only.
What would be useful is if the orders / contracts are rock solid enough to entice more cash.
