I've been looking into AMX the last few months... more to get a feel for how its traded than anything else.
another player in the area is GMR (golden rim resources). smaller outfit but have good ground in mali and burkina faso. interestingly, gryphon are significant shareholders (can't remember percentage off the top of my head)... only problem with this lot is kinda slow progress...
