I have been holding for 10 years and have ridden it all the way down from $0.90. But I continue to have faith. My main problem has been that CommSec in the heady days offered 40% leverage and massive loans. I bought to the hilt sure ARU & LYC would continue to gain given the alternative energy boom was clearly just around the corner. But REE price collapsed and so did ARU & LYC price. CommSec pulled the plug on leverage ratio and loan limit and so my $1.2 m in super and many other stocks went down the drain as margin call after margin call destroyed all remaining wealth. Rather than sell on the ride down I held on with faith (surely the world needs REE soon). In effect CommSec lent with no limit at no risk to themselves but totally unconcerned at my risk and no assessment to ask if I could service the loans. So off to Maurice Blackburn for a class action after all what CommSec has done is not unlike what CBA and the rest have done . Anyone else interested?
