Japan most definitely critical, but as a customer supporting crucial downstream domestic manufacture, as in a symbiotic relationship, which incidentally is now sponsoring quite rapid expansion of the Japanese NdFeB industry after years of stasis.
Germany is now working to replicate Japan's "sponsorship" of an Australia RE hopeful, again to support critical domestic manufacture, looks like ARU missed out there.
US taking another tack and looking at token funding to sponsor domestic processing as the precursor to rebuilding a domestic supply chain with some urgency, ARU hardly positioned for that one.
Sth Korea working downstream metals with another Australian hopeful.
ARU running out of suitors, may just have to dance with the Dragon?
