LRE processing
HRE processing
Metal & alloy making
NdFeB manufacture
Prerequisite is the operation must be US based and importantly the applicant must be able to demonstrate a commercial mkt well beyond the small DoD offtake, to ensure a sustainable business, that eliminates all the wannabes & ambulance chasers.
Scale of US proposal is NOT going to trigger any massive US offtakes for Defence Export Facility funding, even if they replaced total US Chinese NdFeB imports it's only going to represent ~1500tpa NdPr, and that's certainly not going to happen overnight.
