Hi Kevo88 - yes, but Mum and Dad investors need to know what investing is all about. Surely lots of them would have learnt from experiences with Telstra et al over the years, that things don't always work out for the best. OLI was always a speculative play at best. Buy CSL/CBA/WOW if you want greater surety over the longevity/viability of your investment. I definitely wouldn't have thought OLI was ever a business intended for Mum and Dad investors anyway!! If any adviser/broker provided advice to the contrary, they're in the wrong job!
